Our poetry competion Ballads for Reading Gaol was judged by Stephen Moss, former literary editor of The Guardian. The adult winner was Ros Hatt with her poem ‘The Ballad of Reading Gaol Resurrection’ and Lilly Bell won the under 18 category with ‘To Escape’. We will be arranging video recitations of the two winning poems but meanwhile you can read the winning and commended poems.
